MiMitzva.com is a website that allows people to browse the web while (with no extra effort) generating donations for charities valued by our community. Mimitzva was created by Wave Digital Media and Silver.

How do the charities make money?

MiMitzva donates all search revenues evenly to each of “our charities”. At the present that means 20% goes to Friends of the Israel Defense Forces, 20% goes to American Jewish World Service, 20% goes to Gilda’s Club, 20% goes to Mount Sinai Hospital and 20% goes to United Jewish Communities.

How much money does each search make?

Every search generates approximately 1 cent. This doesn't sound like much, but pennies add up – the search industry is a more than $14 billion-a-year business.

Where do the MiMitzva search results come from?

Google provides all our search results from the same database that provides results on their pages. Therefore our search results are of the same quality you would be receiving if you were to directly search google.com.
